The Friends of St. Joseph's 

The Friends of St. Joseph’s is an alumni run charity that is deeply committed to enriching the student experience. Our overall mission is to ensure that every student has access to the resources, experiences and support they need to thrive in our school.

The Friends of St. Joseph’s has provided funding for many things throughout the years including yearly scholarships for graduates, equipment for the arts, robotics, sports teams and clubs as well as purchased items like the score clocks for Alumni Field and the Tommy White Athletic Centre and the digital road sign.

Each year the Friends of St. Joseph’s raises money through investments and fundraisers including our annual golf tournament.  Our tournament is supported by many local business, groups and families in the community.

We also help to manage donations from alumni and other community supporters which are in turn invested and used to increase scholarship opportunities and enhance the school in various ways.

Last Year We Donated To:

• $11,000 in Graduation Scholarships – helping students take their next steps with confidence.

• Girls’ Night Out – a wellness event designed to inspire and empower all female students.

• Robotics World Championships – supporting our team’s incredible journey to compete on the world stage in Texas.

• Drama Department Lighting – providing upgraded stage lighting that enhanced this year’s Harry Potter and the Cursed Child production and will benefit future performances for years to come.

• Community Pathways Program – funding a new washer and dryer to support essential life-skills learning.

• New Basketball Uniforms – outfitting our Junior and Senior Girls’ teams with updated gear to foster school spirit and pride.
